IRLToolkit Clips Player

CloudOBS clips player how-to

The IRLToolkit Clips Player feature in CloudOBS allows you to play back random clips from your Twitch or Kick channel.
This can be useful on a BRB or Ingest Offline scene, to play old clips for your viewers until you return.

Purchase AddOn

Advanced Servers have the IRLToolkit Clips Player feature included.

Standard Servers do not include the IRLToolkit Clips Player by default, but it can be added for a small monthly fee.
If you already purchased a server and do not have the IRLToolkit Clips Player, follow these steps to add it to your server:

  • Log into the IRLToolkit Billing Portal at https://account.irltoolkit.com
  • Click on the [Manage] button for your active service
  • Click on the [Change Configurable Options] button
  • Select the IRLToolkit Clips Player option and click [Review]
  • Pay the invoice then contact IRLToolkit Support via the Discord or the support inbox to have the feature added.

Add IRLToolkit Clips Player to Your Server

  • Open the OBS Remote from your irl.run dashboard
  • Select the scene you'd like to add the IRLToolkit Clips Player to (recommended scenes are BRB or Ingest Offline)
  • Click the Add Source button and select IRLToolkit Clips Player
  • Select your streaming platform
  • Configure other settings like clip minimum view count or fetch period
  • Optionally, you can blacklist or whitelist certain clips using just the clip ID.
To find the clip ID, go to the clip's page on Twitch or Kick and copy the last part of the URL after the /clip/.
For example, in https://www.twitch.tv/username/clip/ClipID, the clip ID is ClipID.
